GoM Summer Transfer Exclusive.
Sources close to Sacred Heart
FC have exclusively revealed to GoM, that former striker Dan Brooksbank is set for a sensational return to the club. The 29
year old HSBC player / manager is said to want to go back to Hearts because of his respect and admiration for their manager
John Linnell.
The insider told GoM that Linnell, better known as Swampy, has had recent
dialect with Judas Brooksbank. During their conversations, it is alleged that Swampy inspired the return of the lanky speed
merchant in the most bizarre fashion. He said that he had been close to quitting as Hearts manager on numerous occasions,
exactly the news that any prospective new signing wants to hear.
However, Brooksbank is desperate for a new club next season. He made a
fantastic start to his managerial career taking HSBC Bank to the top of Meadowhall League 1. But as Dan stamped his own mark
on the team, things fell apart spectacularly. The results faded and performances
were ragged, the only thing preventing the under fire boss from the sack was the form of the leagues leading scorer Liam Morris.
Having seen the Bank fall off their lofty perch and land somewhere around mid table, early season relegation favourites Hearts
are close to overtaking them in the final table.
It is widely known that Swampy is a long term admirer of Brooksbank. A
quote from earlier in the season brought tears to the eyes of any true football fan, “We miss you as a player and as
a lover”. This quote fuelled rumours that Dan’s decision to leave was more than a footballing one, but GoM can
not confirm this at this time.
GoM contacted Sacred Heart gaffer Swampy to ask if he had anything to
say about the speculation surrounding Judas’ amazing return. The bedraggled boss said “We’d love to have
him back – but he’s over the hill and the boys would slaughter him for leaving in the first place” in an
outburst more confusing than one of his half time team talks.
Hearts players Woofer and Wesley were heard to comment “If this
is true, it is fantastic news. We will be the first to welcome Dan back with open arms (and legs). We will ensure he takes
part in the inaugural SHFC shower initiation ceremony.” The 2 Hearts lover boys then added “All current players
are also welcome, bring your own shower gel, the soapier the better”
Whatever happens over the summer period, remember you read it here
in GoM first.

the website - this does not compromise our current sponsorship agreement with CD Steelwork who will remain our No. 1 sponsors
and their name will remain on our shirts and on the website. We need all players to please send an email to the Goals on Monday
email address click here to email asap, stating whether you require a medium[36-40 inch], large[40-44 inch] or extra large [44inch+] also state
